How Pet Aquamation Machines Work: Step-by-Step Process
1. Preparing the Pet’s Body
The deceased pet is gently placed into a cylindrical stainless steel chamber that’s heat-resistant. This step is done with care, respect, and adherence to ethical aftercare procedures.
2. Adding Water & Alkaline Solution
The chamber is filled with water and then heated to 95–150°C. A controlled amount of alkaline solution (usually potassium hydroxide or sodium hydroxide) is added.
3. Alkaline Hydrolysis Process
The sealed tank maintains a stable temperature and pressure for 4–6 hours, depending on the size of the animal. The water and alkali gently accelerate the natural breakdown of soft tissues.
4. Bone Separation
After the process is complete, the resulting liquid is safely discharged via a wastewater treatment system. The remaining white bone fragments are then dried and processed into a sterile, fine ash that can be returned to the pet owner.
5. Automatic Cleaning & Sterilization
Our machines are equipped with an automatic flushing system to ensure hygiene and readiness for the next session—without the risk of cross-contamination.
